In this video I attempt another Pokemon challenge answering a question that you probably didn't ask

I think part of it is that everyone else in the region has a cyclizar, which can't do all the fancy things Koraidon or Miraidon can. It can probably jump a little, and maybe it can swim, but there's no way it can climb or glide, so having places that normal people go to be gated by that wouldn't make sense.

I just watched this guy fall down a mountain to avoid using the path that goes right into the Tagtree Thicket

“We can't reach the middle of thevlake without riding on Koraidon to swim"

Makes me wonder how the heck Arven managed to show up for the False Dragon Titan battle, he got no pokemon that can surf I assume.

My roommate, while fighting a pokemon before the school, got accidently pushed to zone 5. She hasnt been to the school yet (and so no miriadon), and has walked to grusha, the green ruin door, and has a good number of the ruin stakes so she can get the leopard, before she goes to the school

When I first played, I decided to take the scenic route and just walk to all the towns, except for Alfornada and Glaceado, but that's just because like you I didn't know it was possible. It is slow but it also feels kinda nice to just walk through a place and not have to constantly watch your back. Also, the first time you see Levincia, doesn't matter if it's night or day but the view is way better at night.

Honestly, to me it's a testament to how well the region was designed, and how I a priority the open nature of the game was, that you actually can do this with only fairly minor inconvenience

If you do the tutorial skip at los platos then you can get past all of the walls that team star built and get every pokemon center fast travel point without even having a mount. This is what I did on my second playthrough and I had a level 50 skeledirge by the end of it.

Now I’m trying to think about how many times I’ve jumped in the game. It’s not a ton (excluding gliding), but I do jump a ton in the avocado roll. Just makes things easier.

Either way, this was pretty great!

The main entrance to tag tree thicket, or whatever it's called where the Poison Base is, is just north(east) of the the Orthworm titan.

Does anyone else have this weird thing where you think jumping while running makes you move faster than just running normally?

you know what this is a great question that I actually have asked myself before but considering moving around paldea feels slow even just without the sprinting upgrade, I sure as hell wasn't gonna test it, so thanks for doing that for all of us

Your route to get to Alfornada was actually how I got there in my first playthrough, though I did ride on Koraidon through it. It was also the first gym town I visited, when I thought that the gyms would be scaled to how many badges you had

Legends Arceus was the first game where you could jump freely via a mount. Unless you don't count PLA as a main series game, in which case, yeah, SV are the first Pokémon games to allow jumping. 🤔

For Alfornada, you can slide your way down the cliffs towards the west sea, which will lead you to the ramp PaPa Sea used. This is how I got to Alfornada with only 3 badges and the default jump on Miraidon.

Now we know what Ash and his friends go through

I actually found Montenevera that same way by accident on my initial playthrough. It's a lot easier to find Glaseado gym coming from the pass than it is to find the city.

I know it's possible because in my current playthrough I unlocked all the pokemon center fly points before entering Mesagoza for the first time

Watching the trainer move at mach 7 is the most insane thing I've seen all month

*currently horrified at the thought of a jumping/flying crocodile*

The premise honestly sounded like an April fool's day video, but the results were fairly surprising!
