In fairness, while it does make the challenge more fun and exciting to watch, I'm pretty sure Cynthia wouldn't have intentionally handicapped herself in any way on her journey. 😄

I think my favourite Cynthia Pokémon is her ace: Garchomp.
I think this land shark boi is literally known for being Cynthia's most powerful beast.

You know, when you mentioned the whole legendary thing with Arven, of it being the god of big jump it made me realize something. Koraidon and Miraidon aren't big godly pokemon and... When you actually think about it, aren't even actual legendaries because they're ancestors and future versions of Cyclizar, a completely normal pokemon. So, whenever they're from they're just your average everyday pokemon. Kinda reminds me of how Lucario used to be thought of as a mythical pokemon because of his rarity but really was just another ordinary pokemon. Granted, in this case, they at least still qualify as legendaries given circumstances. Just kinda neat when you think about it.

I find the no terastallising and no items rules weird, cause in the anime Cynthia mega evolves Garchomp (Meaning she's not opposed to gimmicks like you seem to think she would be), and she very much uses items

Would have been interesting to see what the substitute for the Pokémon she couldn’t have would have been. As I fully doubt she would have not adapted her team to suit whatever region she was going to conquer. Likewise it would be interesting to see what of the new Paldea Pokémon she would have used.
