I think I know why Penny used Baby-Doll Eyes. Pikachu is actually a physical attacker. Its Attack is 55 while its Special Attack is 50.

Captain Pikachu is pretty based so far but I see you not having Nemona start with crit flower Cat Grill starter. That could have ended the run later on potentially lol
