Thank you for watching my video on Florida's geography problems. I hope you notice the improved video and graphic design here, along with added quality controls of course. Because I realize quality is everything when (mostly) covering the cities and states that makeup the world's most powerful nation.

In Florida, the further North you go, the further South you are.

As a Miami resident he forgot to mention that Florida is the only state where alligators get to choose which neighborhood pool they'll go for a swim!

As a Florida resident for nearly ten years now, it is a beautiful place with great job opportunities, stunning nature, and endless things to do. That being said, it has grown at such a dramatic rate that the average person struggles to pay housing costs. Most everyone I know either cannot afford to live without a room mate/several income streams. Everything has sky rocketed in price, and the infrastructure in central Florida is lagging behind its growth, which is very cumbersome.

You guys should stop slapping videos together if you're not going to verify your data!!
1) Florida is not running out of water, it's natural aquifer has one of the largest reserves of freshwater in the world.
2) Disney is not the biggest employer in the state, Publix has 3 times the employees Disney has in Florida!
3) Florida's clean air is ranked 7th in the nation
4) Florida's building codes are some of the strongest in America, buildings must be built to endure 150MPH sustained hurricane winds since 1991. If you're referring to the condo collapse in 2021, it had nothing to do with building codes, it had to do with terrible maintenance, allowing water leaks to erode the foundation, a greedy HOA and an incompetent or corrupt building inspector hire by a small town.

“a Sunny State for Shady people “ is how a friend of mine who lived in Florida described it! I still laugh when I hear that description!! 😃

I grew up in south Florida and left the state over 20 years ago. Each time I go back to visit family, I do notice the growth expansion in areas that were once swampland, farms or cattle ranches. I’m always amazed at the change but the population has grown so much that going anywhere that was once mins, now would take longer because of traffic. I notice the high cost of renting and buying and my hats off to those who do what they must to make ends meet. I do not see myself moving back and I’m glad I had the opportunity to leave then for school and opportunities to travel to other states for work. There are other parts of the US that I love that now Fla is only for visiting family.

Florida also has one other problem not mentioned in this video: Sinkholes. A few of these have taken the lives of unfortunate people as well as their property.

If you are forced to spend any time driving in this state you would run like a scalded rabbit. Everyone’s in a hurry and have a kind of ‘Take That’ attitude. It’s like the state was invaded by a horde of eighteen year olds.

The State makes up the lack of State income taxes via high property taxes.

As a 51 year native, I agree. Population, greed, and houses have become much worse in the last two decades compared to most. I don’t remember the crime as it once was and traffic? Ugh

While out-of-staters were flocking into Florida in 2021,  674, 740 residents moved out. That's more than the total number of people that left California or New York that year. Those who moved out previously told Insider the state had become too unaffordable and crowded.

where most of the transplants are coming from is probably a bigger danger to Florida than its geography.

I've lived in KS, CA, NM, & FL and worked in others. They all have unique problems- the biggest is over population and misuse of the land and water.
