Redefining Masculinity | Andrew Hanna

"This TED-style talk was given at the 2019 Mark Leadership Conference. Planned by a dedicated team of Rutgers University–New Brunswick students and staff, the purpose of the Mark Conference is to inspire action among students and encourage them to think critically about the mark they will leave on the world around them. The Ignite Speakers at the conference are students who tell unique, powerful stories with universal messages. Their experiences, achievements, and hardships are proof that it is never too early, or too late, to leave your mark on the world.

Andrew Hanna is an Honors College senior who, upon graduation, will matriculate directly into dental school to begin his journey as a healthcare practitioner. Drew enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to audiobooks, and attempting to cook. Andrew was motivated to become an Ignite Speaker because he wants to incite meaningful change and broaden perspectives, just as his predecessors had done.
