Rewriting Not-So Fairytale Love | Jasmyn Lettman

"This TED-style talk was given at the 2019 Mark Leadership Conference. Planned by a dedicated team of Rutgers University–New Brunswick students and staff, the purpose of the Mark Conference is to inspire action among students and encourage them to think critically about the mark they will leave on the world around them. The Ignite Speakers at the conference are students who tell unique, powerful stories with universal messages. Their experiences, achievements, and hardships are proof that it is never too early, or too late, to leave your mark on the world.

Jasmyn Lettman is a senior studying kinesiology with a minor in health and society. She enjoys listening to music, traveling with her friends, and finding funny pictures of animals online. Jasmyn decided to step completely out of her comfort zone and apply for the Ignite Speaker position because she hopes she can promote growth in others while growing herself on that stage.
