UK Reform leader Nigel Farage believes US Vice President Kamala Harris will make “terrible mistakes”.

This comes after President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign and endorsed Ms Harris as the Democratic candidate.

“Honestly, I think, under fire, she’ll make terrible mistakes,” Mr Farage told Sky News host Paul Murray.

“We’ll hear that hyena-like nervous laugh that she does.”

The second flag raising on Iwo Jima was emphatically not staged for the photographer and Farage needs to not talk about things he knows nothing about. There was an earlier flag raising that was indeed staged, the second raising - the famous one - was a candid photo. In fact, no one told the photographer, Joe Rosenthal, that it was going up and he almost missed it. A USMC cine-cameraman was also present and created a motion picture of the event. The flag would have gone up whether or not they were there as the purpose was to get a bigger flag flying so it could be more easily seen from the beach and the ships at sea.
