Jesus is actually not the Messiah as he didn't issue from the loins of David. Numbers 1 tells us ancestral house is passed from blood father to blood son and not stepfather to stepson or mother to son. This literally means Jesus is not the Messiah. Not to mention he didn't accomplish anything the Messiah was supposed to do.
