I have stage 4 colon cancer. My wife and I believed God allowed It as He allowed Job's trial and Paul's thorn in the flesh. He has a purpose and we are going to trust His plan. Since then God in His timing used me to have a positive influence in the lives of 3 families. If i did not have the cáncer and the appointments when i did i would not have helped those families. We have been blessed by the outpouring of LOVE from 2 chuches. That amazed us. The hospital staff was blessed by our behavior along with our church family because our attitude was biblically based. We learned the biblical truths God expects us all to learn.Thank God we learn them before we went through this season.

Our son had this disease when he was 15. He could not walk for 6 weeks. Today he is 51 years old and walks with a slight limp but other wise very healthy! That did change our lives for the good. He accepted Jesus as his Savior during that time of his life. He was diagnosed with Demyelinating Disease.

I recently heard “if it comes to me, it went through Him first”. I now pray “Lord, I know this trial is for my good and Your glory. Through this suffering let me learn what You want to teach me, let Your purpose be accomplished, and give me Your strength and grace to endure.” Anything I go through is nothing compared to what Jesus endured for me! Amen!

I was diagnosed with Dystonia when I was 10. It is also a rare disease. The doctor doesn't know why or how I got it. I am 65 years old, know. Watching this interview, I can relate to what Dr. Jeremiah is saying. There are days I just don't feel like getting out of bed. But knowing the Lord has a plan for me helps me never to give up. And to look to God for my strength each and every day. I try to stay in God's word each day for encouragement.
