In dubai it's used mostly as taxi and costs 110k Dirham ie 26 lakh Inr. In India it's around 60 lakh!! That's insane.

Taxes on cars in india is absolute scam. Almost 45% percent (incl RT, GST, Import tax). It has made the entire car market not at all appealing to the common man. Cars being priced 2-3x of what they’re priced outside ! Manufacturer being taxed on the CKD parts, then GST tax, Road tax, Cess, Registration. What kind of taxing is this !

Locally assembled and 48lakhs for a It's price starts from 24lakhs in North america what the hell? And that too with an AWD setup!

Camry has always been an understated, wonderful car. Very reliable indeed. For 60 lakhs though, it is not a steal. Lets remember that close to 25 lakhs in this goes to the government.

That's a Car to be designed Inside and Out. Toyota just nailed it unlike other oversized screens with all controls and no rear such controls. Very crisp and informative video.

The Top model is priced USD 35, 000 (29 Lakhs) in USA. Government tariffs are way too high. Consumers cant enjoy global products.

Those who are whining about the price if this car should know that this is not mass produced car in india. This is luxury car and sedan is not that practical here. They have sold only 6100 cars in last 5 years only.
Government should promote this companies to manufacture their most products here in India. Otherwise it would destroyed local market and companies. This is simple economics which most of the people don't understand here in our country. We need china like growth in our country so that we could get high end luxury cars in affordable prices from local manufacturers.

Having owned Toyota Corolla I was planning to upgrade to Camry. Being locally assembled the price to value equation was and is still missing. Prices in Middle East and USA are cheaper.
