Had to comment again. He has to best musician I’ve ever heard in my life. I used to sing acapella in a chorus, but never have I come across harmonies like this before. I’m just stunned. AMAZING 😮

Per Jacob, " I would start playing and improvising and at a point I would find where it led me and I would land on a song." He also stated that he challenged himself to perform a new song every night on this tour that he had never performed on stage. Such an amazing talent.

Can you believe he actually didn’t even rehearse that before playing it? He already said he does these covers improvising, and many times he doesn't even know what he’ll play when he starts the introduction. Unbelievably impressive!! A true genius!

I don't know if you've seen it yet, but jacob's cover of 'Wild Mountain Thyme' is also very worth checking out. As a massive Jacob Collier fan, I only heard it for the first time a few weekd ago, and it absolutely blew my mind.

Check this out - I just discovered him in March of this year. Of course, I was immediately knocked off my rocker, turns out he was playing in Philly where I live 2 weeks later…so I went and saw him. It was so spectacular that I bought tickets to see him a month later in Denver…but this time, I bought a meet & greet upgrade. See the video link below, where I ask him to demonstrate his harmonizer, which he proceeds to do and we have a conversation…then he answers a young kid’s question in the most inspiring way! I saw the whole show from the front row, and it was the most surreal, incredible musical experience of my life.

Rick Beato (who has a course about training for perfect pitch, and taught his son to have perfect pitch), claims people with perfect pitch lose it in their 40s. If so, we only have a decade or so to get to Jacob Collier concerts. A sobering thought! This is amazing, but I prefer his more 'traditional' music performances, without the harmoniser, like "Little Blue" #MahoganySessions‬.
