Phill is a great coach, I’m glad he got a recognition at the end he deserved that. Through it all he came back for his boy he really cares and loves him his words of wisdom is everything Herc needs to get back at his feet be the hero everyone loves. I have seen it argued that Phil's motives were selfish since he had dreams of getting glory by training a hero, but what convinced him to come to back help Hercules wasn't glory; it was that his student was going to die.

The art director really knew how to portray deflation. I don't know if that's in part an attribute of this smooth like pudding style, but you can see it on the worn out Hercules

In the end it was that sluggish, clutch style that won this battle. He didnt have thunder in his guns for an amped right hook. He was Superman 2

This is actually one of the most meaningful scenes in the film Hercules knew that if he didn’t Face the cyclops people would die and get killed but instead he chose to face the cyclops

Hercules is rather underated in my opinion - the characters are great, and not to mention the fun, the story and THE SONGS!!!
