Yes I love the filet o fish. Since it was the only thing I could eat. But that aside. It tastes different in each country. The one in the Netherlands is my favorite. Its tangy instead of sweet. In the US the sauce is kinda sweet. In France it has a mustardy taste.

Steaming the potato roll, or the Artisian roll are some of the best things to do, and grilling the buns with butter; amazing. Deep fried bacon with caramelized onions is amazing.

Also having the steam bun instead is a game changer for the other sandwiches too.

When I worked there, I used to put butter on both steam bun, 1 slice of cheese and sprinkle some salt and pepper on the fish. You also have to a piece of fish that has been in the warmer for at least 20 mins, so its not blazing hot from the oil. It's for better tasting results.

I might recommend try dropping it in the toaster for the bun I did that one day by accident because I was tired and it was the end of day end of shift and it really wasn’t bad I think you give a little extra texture little extra crunch crispiness it is a quite good actually give it a shot

Burger King used to have "the whaler" that was a great fish sandwich
