I would love to see a deep dive into wifi tuning, like, the environment scan page, seeing so many other devices "DIRECT-ROKU" for example, how to avoid interference from them, etc.

I use the base aggregation switch and have all of my switches connect to that via sfp to copper adapters, works well

If one plans to purchase a UDM-PRO SE, to start building their network, and plan on adding several cameras (3) and several APs (2) can the Poe budget handle those on the SE version, will the cameras be affected by the 1 GB back plane? Or that is more about the connection to the ISP?

Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I have a fairly "overpowered" (in a good way) setup for our house but I see a lot of signal interference from the neighbors surround us. Picking fixed channels (manual) sounds good but aren't we then susceptible to running into issues when the surroundings change, where as letting Unifi automatically change channels on a regular basis should be better ? Or are we just playing non stop "cat and mouse" because the different networks will keep adjusting in a chain reaction? Like, my neighbors router goes "oh, hey, there's noise on channel 3, so I'll go for channel 5 instead" and then MY network will go "oops, gotta run from channel 5 now, so I'll choose channel 8" etc.

Thanks for the great info, very few people have given an information regarding Unifi connectivity or integration with any other brand. my Questions is i have bought UNIFI UDM PRO, but my Next Switch is TPLINK 24 port with 10g sfp modules, this switch is then connected via fiber to other 4 tplink poe+ access switches, then unifi u6 LR's are connected to this access switches. all tplink switches are high end managed switches with vlans. will this same tutorial work for this scenario of mine as well ???

Nice video Cody. The problem with wifi is that sometimes our neighbours have wifis which automatically scan and adjust channels. So what’s low on traffic one day may not be the next.

Question regarding java. Upgrades now require java 11 and the software points you to an open source website. I can also get java 11 from oracle. I am currently using java 8 and my java panel saying I am up to date. Where should I download from and can I install over my current java?
