God the writing for this game is brilliant. Why is it that Insomniac can get Spider-Man and his mythos so right and the comics nowadays can’t. Like seriously this Spider-Man has had more character growth and development in less than 5 years than the mainstream comic Spider-Man has in more than 17

When me and my friend were playing the game we we’re not expecting that ending, we honestly thought Mysterio was up to no good again. And then his final word really hit me especially after listening and re listening to the last tape along with the others

Mysterio has always been my fav Spider-Man villain when I realized I was getting a Mysterio boss fight I got giddy as hell and the fight did not disappoint. Even better I get a Mysterio suit for Miles after it never taking it off 😂

Would love for Villains like shocker, scorpion and other smaller Villains to pop up throughout the game in events like bank heists etc. Woukd also love to see Mysterio return in a bigger way.

This is now my favorite boss fight in all of video game history. When Mysterio grew, I realized what was about to happen. Just like in the comics when he attacked the carnival. The nerd in me was geeking out so hard. Getting to swing through NY upside down was a treat. But my favorite part was fighting 10 (idk if it was 10) different Mysterios. Awesome fight, and the MUSIC though! Love the choir as I'm beating some Fishbowls in.

Yet another example of how Insomniac writes good stories. When we first meet Mysterio it seems that he tries to redeem himself after he got out of prison but when the story progresses we get the impression that his redemption is fake and he just wants to cover his criminal activities. So yet another story of former villain that wants to change for better but it is all fake and cover. Then we get boss fight and are almost sure that he lied and he is still evil but it ends in a plot twist that he was saying truth and his partners tried to frame him.

I feel sorry for him. He really tried to redeem himself and his partners betrayed him. He didn't deserve that, he served his time in prison.

The skull is a bit much but overall I like this design of Mysterio was hoping David Kaye would voice him since he voices clank in ratchet and clank but hey the guy they got is pretty good

The part where Miles is swinging through an upside down New York reminds me of that one scene from No Way Home where Peter is fighting Doctor Strange in the Mirror Dimension, or the illusion scenes in Far From Home; such a cool visual. It's too bad that Mysterio is reformed now and retired from being a supervillain, because I would love to get to see more of him and his illusions in future games. Sure, we got trippy stuff like that before with Mr. Negative's powers and Scorpion's toxins, but personally I just prefer Mysterio tbh.

It would’ve been awesome if this fight tested Miles’ spider sense. Like some enemies can hurt you while other enemies are just illusions which can be shown if the spider sense activates or not
