Teaching My Wife to Handle the Radios in Cirrus SR 22T Gen 6

My wife and I are getting ready for a cross-country trip around the US and this time around my wife wanted to get more involved. So I'm going to handle the flying and she is going to take over the radio and checklists. On this video my wife gets some real world experience talking to ATC on a recent flight from Santa Monica CA (KSMO) to Bakersfield CA (KBFL). Come along for the ride.

It must be even more difficult for a non pilot to work the radios. I guess as a pilot flying the plane you have that understanding of what is coming next. Credit where credits due though she did a fantastic job.

I’m sorry, I’ve forgotten your wife’s name but she did a great job. Pretty soon you will be able to taxi while she gets the clearance. Excellent!
