Chia pudding is very very good for you! But if you’re used to a low- fiber diet, only do a pudding with 1-2 tablespoons (tbsp) first try.

This is my second time trying chia pudding and I love it....but I didn't realize how much fiber it has which had me racing to the bathroom 20 mins after eating it lol a real colon cleanser

Make sure if you eating chia for the first time start with eating like a tea spoon or tablespoon and slowly build up the intake you can just start by sprinkling some in your smoothies, fruit juices or yoghurt never eat 4tb of it when you are starting out.

CHIA PUDDING BASE RECIPE 1/2 cup almond milk
2tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)

Variations:
1. 1tsp cinnamon * pinch of ground cardamon + cloves+ 2tsp chopped raisins

2. 1tsp green matcha powder + shredded coconut

3. 2 tbsp each of banana + strawberries + cinnamon

4. 1 tbsp cocoa powder + cinnamon

5. Add a variety of seeds +
Cranberries

Use glass lidded jars and make 3-5 jars at a time. It’s just not for breakfast. A healthy snack that’s filling.

Use canned coconut milk or Greek yogurt for a thick and creamy consistency and swirl in some fruit pruee yum!

For those who want to know
4 tbsp of chia seeds
1 cup of milk
Liquid sweeter but can use honey
Mix let it sit for 5 minutes
Keep stirring or shaking to get rid of clumps
Leave it in the fridge for 1/2 hrs or overnight
(If too thick, add more liquid if too thin add more chia seeds)
Add toppings of choice
- granola
- berries
Enjoy!

All seeds & nuts has phytate which is a nutrient inhibitor. I like to soak my seeds with warm to hot water at least few hrs if not overnight to reduce phytate. Strain with a strainer.

I make my chia pudding with 1 or 2 tbsp of chia seeds & I use kefir rather than of any kind of milk because kefir gives it a "tang". I let it set overnight, toppings are separate so they're not soggy the next day.

I have a chia seed tip. If you want it fast, you can just microwave it in it liquid, then put it in a fridge for like 10 minutes to cool down. It will absorb a lot faster in the heated liquid and it's much faster to just cool down a bit rather than to wait for it to absorb

Skip the plate.. everything in the jar... no extra dishes... love this breakfast. Can be done with rolled oats and chia seeds as well add some ground flax if you are brave.. use coconut milk or home made almond milk no added sugar. Use Stevia instead of honey or maple syrup... or just more sweet blueberries..
