My thoughts on Canon EOS-M With Magic Lantern(Crop Mood)

Thank you for this video. I believe you didn't touch on playback of footage on camera though. I tried crop mood recently and I noticed that I can't playback footage on the camera after recording. It works on Danne's build but I couldn't get it to work on crop mood for some reason. I just get a black screen and the frame number counting down. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you

im planning on buy a second hand canon eos m as my first camera {mainly cuz most of the magic lantern videos are based around that camera model} could you please help me to know what all i should check in the camera before making the purchase, i will be meeting the seller and checking the camera in person

Id say that shooting on the eos m with crop mood, the only difference ive found in shooting in 10 bit vs 12 bit vs 14 bit is that the higher the bit rate, the less color noise there is in the shadows and the more you can raise the shadows in post, so if shot right its a little more dynamic range. Also shooting dual iso is fantastic cant recommend it enough for hdr settings
