I did it and it was worth it. I don’t use the 2.5k/4k/5k settings, just 1080p. I upscale if I really want 4k, but usually I just go with 1080p.

I have owned and regularly used the 6d my only complaint is the frankly arcade auto focusing system, and though very nitpicky the small sensor as I’m a sucker for high megapixel sensors like the A7r5
