Experts say vaping black market will flourish under the new regulations. Senate hearing, 2 May 2024

Three expert witnesses told the Senate Inquiry into vaping that Australia's current rampant black market for vapes will continue under the proposed legislation. Even with increased policing and border control efforts, illegal imports and sales are not enforceable and will only get worse.

Scott, James and Alex elegantly presented some hard hitting truths and almost brought tears of joy to my eyes. The hysteria and hypocrisy of the media and health minister is stark in comparison. Mr Buttler hoped he could pull the wool over the eyes of the whole country. We need smart people running the country, not these socialist clowns!

The senators need to spend some time with policing, and see just how a day rolls. To tie up valuable police resources with vaping is so silly.
Far to many issues at hand. Vaping is simply an alternative to an already legal product. The approach needs appropriate thinking. The alternatives are the killers as many of us know. Why we aren't adopting a similar approach to NZ and UK is crazy.

Im so angery now i have to get a persciption from a doctor that does not want to perscribe it and a chemist that does not want to sell it just to get a less harmful alternative im left with not chose but to buy from the black market a product that i do not support or go back to smoking. I have a 20 year plus smoking history been using vapes from legitimate retailers for a decade now. absolutly discusted with the current goverment.

The government can do what it wants to do, I will do what I need to do to improve my health I smoked from the age of 14-52yrs, I’ve vaped for last 6yrs, my health as improved drastically 👍🏻
