Love how he gets straight to the point. Orange poly is a lifesaver on large acreage installs—flexible, durable, and easy to snake through rough terrain. 👌

I install large diameter water and sewer mains and i love innerduct. Saved my butt many times. Its really only for fiber or directional drilled lines. I've seen them installed with trenchers (not very common) but it's usually fiber. Direct buried copper phone lines, old coax cables and direct buried power lines are usually not buried in innerduct or conduit. Well, in bigger cities, they are, for the most part but everywhere else outside the city, not often. Also, drops that service houses will not have innerduct or conduit. Some may but it was probably installed by the homeowner.

Here in New Zealand, 9 times out of 10 they just ran the line down the bottom rail of existing fences

I use to install sprinkler systems and I’ve seen those lines be a wopping 2 inches under the sod running all over peoples yards lol

Be careful, the gas company use to use orange poly back in the day. Pink and orange. Now it’s yellow

On new construction, I've seen them just run black fiber cables on top of the soil and then just leave it alone, because they know sod will get placed on top later to cover it up.

Just had fiber installed in my yard. They just ran the fiber it's self. (it did have a tiny sheath. maybe the whole thing was an 1/8" in diameter.) buried it about an 1" down. they had to come out about 3 months later and install a new cable. Did the same thing. So far this one has held up for about a year. I'm pretty sure when I have my yard aerated this year they will be out replacing it again. They didn't even remove the old fiber optic line. They just cut it off on each end and put down a new one.

I wonder if the same thing applies to orange cones and barrels??? I’ve seen a lot of those that have been nicked!

My parents lose their Internet phone and everything else every spring when the gardeners come through and edge the planting beds. Not to mention the control circuits for their inground sprinklers..
