Can an iphone (7) QR scanner operate at a distance. i.e in a movie theatre can a code be scanned by audience from the screen? Does the projected QR code have to be a minimum size. Thanks

This is a real problem as in france-all train tickets are swiped using QR codes. NONE worked with my iphone 6s! Luckily, staff let me through.
