Why Didn't The Separatists Make A Clone Army?
Показать описание
When watching the prequel movies or the Clone Wars series, has it ever occured to you why the Separatists never made a Clone army of their own instead of using droids? I mean for one, the Clones were more intelligent and skilled than the limited thinking droid army and they seemed to be more effective. Well actually, the Separatists did make a clone army!

In the now-Legends Republic comics, we learn about the Morgukai Shadow Army.
Created by the CIS on Salecumi during the waning days of the Clone Wars, it was created by the Dark Jedi Sora Bulq.
The Shadow Army was specifically designed to fight Jedi, as its soldiers wielded cortosis blades, which could be used to disrupt a Jedi’s lightsabers.
seeking to establish a viable counter-measure to the Republic's clone army, the Confederacy of Independent Systems recruited one of the last remaining Morgukai.
This army was created from the genetic material of the elite Nikto warrior Bok.
Bok belonged to a secret Nikto society made up of honor bound warriors.
Bok trained the Nikto clones well- however, the Republic besieged Saleucami and no clones were able to escape.
In addition to his role as the prime clone, Bok served as the primary training officer for the clones, tutoring the Shadow Army in Morgukai combat styles.
To make them even deadlier, Sora Bulq recruited Anzati assassin teachers from Anzat to further train the Morgukai clones in the arts of stealth and assassination.
The necessary cloning facilities were constructed in the magma chambers beneath the capital city of Saleucami, also doubling as the training ground and all powered by the geothermal power stations also built into these catacombs.
The clones and their instructors were all equipped with Cortosis alloy blades, to allow them to combat Jedi, though the source of these weapons is unknown.
According to the assassin trainer Rath Kelkko, the Morgukai clones adapted quickly to the Anzati methods and techniques, though he noted that proper mastery required years of training and practice.
Unfortunately for the Confederacy's cause, the Shadow Army was prevented from leaving Saleucami with a prolonged siege by the Galactic Republic, which ended with their destruction.
In conclusion, the Separatists did make a clone army but in Legends.
