I know a good reason why I, myself, can't buy a ready-to-wear piece. I smell a donut and I gain 5 pounds. That oversized Balenciaga hoodie? It's a slim fit now.

I'm loving how much this channel has grown. I've been here since 15k and it's more then doubled . What will it take for donatella to notice this girl 🙈❤️

I pick fine jewellery anytime over costume jewellery. I don’t understand paying for an absurd amount of money for some cheap metal, especially they’re not really known to be well made, to be honest. Do I find the design of Chanel costume jewellery beautiful? Yes of course. But I reckon investing in fine jewellery is always better investments.

Great content Cassie! Most people think buying luxury is an investment that will appreciate quickly, but that is not the case with most items. The best advice is buy what you love and if it goes up in value great, but don't count on that! TFS!

I hate this whole “invest” in luxury. Just wear it. The only way they can be considered investments is if you can get vendor or deep discounts and you can sell them for more than you paid them for. Why would you have things sitting in your closet? Smh

Totally agree with you on everything. Basically everything fashion is not an investment. And how boring isn't it to only spend money on e.g. a bag with the sole intent of it's resale value.
I buy what I like when I like it, and I use my stuff. That's the whole point in treating yourself to something you are lusting for. I think it was Oprah that once said "use your good stuff, Ladies!" A lot of people don't get to use their "investments" before they are out of fashion.

Right on point!! It’s so sad to see branded heels like Dior YSL or even Chanel price slashed when they are at second hand market. That’s the reason why many are buying from second hand market rather than the boutique nowadays, especially for RTW

Baaaaby the way I've been seeing Off White bags all over the sales it's crazy. Just a few years ago they weren't so accessible, now you can get it pretty low if you work.
Loved this video concept 👏🏾👏🏾...this is our type of investment portfolio 🤣, hope you working on the best investment pieces

It all loses value before you've left the shop unless it appeals to the collectible market. Consider the stock market instead. If I got back 50% of something that I have used and enjoyed that would be vey good indeed. I feel 20% is more realistic or even less. But those pennies do add up.

Ms Cassie, you’re always on point in your post. I was just telling a friend about a LV costume bracelet I wanted vs another brand that’s 18k gold. I know it was the flex of the LV bracelet that I wanted but I’ve had a ring on my wish list for the past 6 months and can’t fully rationalize why I’d buy costume over the real thing. I’m definitely send this video to my friend because your knowledge has really helped me when I’ve struggled or debated about an item. You always put out something that’s a hot topic even when one didn’t realize that initially. Keep up the great work!!! ❤️

I wouldn’t buy used shoes. Something is just nasty to me about the thought of someone’s sweaty feet having been there. 🤢

Cartier buffs the scratches on your Love bracelet fo free 🙃 Not recommended to be done more than 2x a year...but if you were planning to sell, get it buffed right before and you’re golden ✨
