It’s funny, when you think luxury you expect quality, class and sophistication and luxury brands spend millions of dollars on marketing, attempting, and unfortunately succeeding in fooling many consumers that their products are actually worth the inflated price tags, but as you’re about to see, many of these premium products, are just not worthy of the asking price.

---

At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.

Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.

Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.

So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.

We’d love nothing more than for you to give us as much feedback as possible, so we can make this channel the best it can be.

I got my better half a alfa stelvio ti sport and it was flawless and kept it as a lease for three years. One of the most reliable cars Ive owned over 45 years of new cars. The alfa in my experience doesnt belong on this list.

A few ideas for future videos if you run out of ideas.
1. Most indestructible and flimsy cars on Australian roads.
2. Most molested or overmodded cars
3. Best accessories to help fuel consumption and the worst for chewing more juice.
4. Best and worst cars for project cars for beginners on a budget.
5. Design features from old cars that should be brought back and new features that should be chucked into the scrap bin.

Excellent content refreshing to see a Aussie presenting auto review instead of the poms, Irish, and Americans. Mate don't expect a Xmas hamper or card from Land rover Aus after that scathing report.

Agree totally. I had my RR Evoke back to the dealers 12 times for - what they suggested were solutions via software resets. Doors opening on the highway at 100kms per hr was the living end!

These kinda videos showcase the need to identify, name and avoid certain brands who are clearly selling on marketing alone.

Issues with Alfa Romeo, are not even close to be bad and be on the list - especially when people complain about gearbox in Alfa that is exactly the same as in BMW and they praise same gearbox there. If a car has a more sportier setup like Stevlio, cv joint will fail- and that is always the case. Only issue is where u have manufacturer that doesn't want to sell just the CV joint but the whole assembly which makes it much more cheaper - as i have driven a lot of performance cars for years I'm yet to see one that hasn't failed, however You can buy separate part on Alfa Romeo easy, BMW, OPEL OPC version for instance You can't.

Mate, you should have done a top ten as, sadly, we all knew beforehand that Landrover was going to own this top 5

There's only one moderately reliable recent Land Rover and that's the Freelander 2. It's still got the odd niggle, but because it was designed as (the last) affordable entry level Land Rover, it's pretty cheap to fix. They're seriously good off-road so it's the one Land Rover whose issues don't outweight the benefits. I really love mine.

I kept a 2013 evoque, 220000km. Nothing went wrong in the past 5 years apart from a split intercooler pipe, should I be concerned?

Would love to hear your opinion on the current used car market in Australia. Prices are incredibly inflated due to COVID at the moment, so any advice would be fantastic.

Thanks great information.

Can you imagine if Jeep and say Landrover for example got their act together and made rock solid great vehicles and treated their consumers like people.
They would smash sales and be at the very top of the tree.

How hard can it be? Makes me wonder.

Perseven will now be permanently replacing "percent" as a unit of measurement.

Example sentence: "I am 77 Perseven sure."
