Liked the idea that the mic helps to focus-on and clarify the voice of the camera-operator, but the sound of the waterfall came-through the video just enough to add to the video-experience, without drowning-out the operator. Best of two worlds.

Last gopro i bought was a hero 4+ like literally years ago, i never used it because of how jittery the video was for what i was producing. This looks like a super solid action cam now, very impressive.

Have been vlogging with the Hero 7 for ages. To be honest this has just really been a software tweak and no doubt could have been added to the Hero 7 as an update. Depends on the price of the audio case, etc. Still not happy about the last camera and its clunky audio adapter which I still never managed to get hold of as out of stock forever.

If you have a scale if you could way it yourself and let me know that would be great.web says 126g but I have also Heard it's 10% lighter than the 7.. witch is around 82g. Thank you!
