I have often thought that Chauvet have missed a trick with the GIG Bar range
My thought would be have a bare bones Bar that you can mix and match and atatch lights to (Hang in here with me)
If they had a compatible range of fixtures that you could simply add to the bar in any config you want
I know it will work but needs a tweek or two as I removed the Derbys from my pair Gigbar Move ILs and also removed the laser as the refraction laser is never good IMO, I then bought x4 of the Wash pars and now I have a far more Wedding freindly bar (well for me anyway)
It would need a small amount of work for the inbuilt progs but think or the possibilities
Better Lasers
Versitile Wash light options evan a LED bar that would fit along the top giving an option to angle down
Wizard type Rollers
The limit is imagination
it really would be an amazing family

Thanks for this review - I've always done individual light fixtures in the past (I have some wash LED panels and a couple Inno pocket spots) but I think two of these across an overhead truss would be fantastic. Got me thinkin' 🤔

if your wondering? The mover wattage is 40w as opposed to the Gigbar Move + ILS which is 32w and the Gigbar Move ILS is 10w

Just a shame the mounting pole doesn't go right through the unit, like the old duo, so you can mount a speaker on top. That cuts the wobble right out as well.

I own 2 of these and they are very nice HOWEVER I have a small grumble and its ref the Wash LEDS.
Here is my thought and if @chauvet are reading this listen up if you ever make an MKII ver would welcome those LEDs mounted to a manual mech that would allow for all to have an angle set so we could change where they shine.
To explain I was on a reasonably high stage this weekend and running two of these units and what I found was that the wash just went so far over the dance floor and hit the back wall (note plenty Bright enough) but not where I wanted the lights to be focused if the row of LEDS were mounted on an internal bar that could be simply twisted by a large thumb screw on the end of a unit it would give the wash a far better dance floor coverage
YES this might add a bit of a cost however I would rather pay for that feature than not have it
Would I still buy it yes but I also feel it would benefit from a slightly narrower spot angle for each of the LED wash/spots and better direction to the dancefloor where the action is not in the eyes of guests having a convo at the back of the room?
My thoughts only you understand and if @chauvet you want to talk more with me about this happy to chat I have a great IDEA for a MODULAR GIGBAR that could be CUSTOM built by the customer who would fit ILS compatible lights of choice to a bare bone bar

Also HI Mike another great video keep em coming

Finally a ginger that I don’t find is too flashy.
