The extra wash actually washes out the moving heads brightness imo. I’m a fan of the laser looks dope on the dance floor and the derby lights look great pointed to the ceiling.

Did the same thing the moment I got the gigbar too! Replaced the derbies with par cans and removed the laser entirely! Love using mine with SoundSwitch!

I also replaced my derby's with pars. I am using the DDJ-FLX10 with Rekordbox Lighting. Absolutely awesome! One thing to note: I left the derby's in the fixture profile but changed the lighting type from "effect" to "Par 1" & "Par 4" leaving the factory pars as 2&3.
I also upgraded the case and love it (the wheels are great improvement making easier to transport.

I was so against this bar for my weddings because the lasers and shitty derbies. But I never knew you could swap them out! Bravo! Looks like I’ll be ordering one for NYE 🎉

Can you replace the Laser with one of the derbys? That would be my favorite setup I think.

Can you dim the lights on the entire gigbar from the remote? Or do you need DMX hooked up to dim the lights? If not, you may be stuck in a situation where they are too bright. Thanks

Wanting to do this same thing! where can i find the correct replacement lights though? These connect over that smaller 5 pin instead of your typical dmx
