I have an automatic 2003 beetle GL in grey and I love it so much! It is my first car and I am so happy with it.

Just got one of these going; it needed a new clutch. It's pretty funny going from a massive lifted squarebody Chevy to a little bug in which the roof doesn't even make it to the bottom of my truck's window, but it's nice to save gas and be able to keep my truck out of the SD salt for the rest of the winter.

2004 vw beetle gls 2.0l owner here!
Great little car I bought my a beetle from someone who didn't fix. Since then I've replaced rad, rad support, radiator, brake booster, fix seat belt airbag code, innition coil/pack, power steering rack, power steer pump, ps lines high-pressure and low, ps resivior, spark plugs, front coil struts, brakes all around, seized lock mecnism, broken arena.
I've never worked on a beetle but can say I've learned a lot in the process. It was Worth it! Don't take to dealer learn read do it yourself you can.
