Really going all-round report. When I saw that it was so brief, I thought it wouldn't be up too much, but it packs in more essential information than many reviews five or ten times longer. Really good information about the body, the interior AND the driving experience, all delivered in under three minutes. This guy should have a job on television, if he hadn't already. Well done, from a British appreciator.

Does the backseat fold down to make a larger storage space with the trunk? I'd like to get something small for my work but my work involves Bankers boxes that are roughly 36"x12"x9", sometimes up to 4 of them at a time.

I like this Beetle. The last gen "New Beetle" was way too girly.

This is the base model, if you want something SPORTY, go test the gti beetle with 2.0 turbo modded style and suspension!!!

They fold actually, you should be fine ;) . good choice for a car, you should check out the 2.0 turbo engine tho.

The Turbo package represents the car so much better. The heritage wheels really detract from the car.

No dont like it how many times are they going to revamp this car, like Porsche and the mini over and over sick off it .

The New Beetle just does not do anything for the last model better.

The interior is a major improvement but the exterior styling is a miss. The old car had a better execution of the retro-modern thing. Overall, not a bad car.

This car has nothing in common with the old Käfer. Appeal nothing. The VW' s designers should have let the orginal forn untouched making all the necessaries modifications and up-to-dates only inside, motor and modern Technology, without  changing the original exterior. The thing could have been possible. The mudguards  had to remains the same as  the old ones, bonnet and rear too. Then  the new beetle would have been a hit. Instead we have a failure. Sorry. Interior is O.K. What  we Käfer's Lovers can't  stand is the exteror. VW could have done better to leave the exterior unchanged or at least done little, minimal,   necesarry modifications. People have always loved the Käfer (Beetle) priciplally for ist exterior.
