I also saw us form the 3-3-4 shape when Enzo came on . With gusto, lavia and Enzo making that midfield. Thought you could check that out . But i was overall very expressed .even with the Celtics game. Was just the OOP like Enzo pointed out and Ironed out .

I feel like with Guiu, even if we don't get Victor . Hes maturity and application would have Enzo be completely fine with keeping him because he does the fundamental really well of what it is asked of with the system

amazing attack, honestly it's what i've wanted to see for years with good wing play to the byline then the rest crashing the box with multiple people available. i think the question for the season is how quickly can our defenders/midfielders learn the OOP play bc that'll decide if we win games or not

The first thing I like today is Tosin in the central defence. I don't know why it took so long to notice he's the best we have there but please Maresca don't put Badiashille there.

KDH is a starter in this team. He is too important to the system. Just look at how he covers defensively. When Carney is there it will be as if there's no pressing or recovery but KDH is coming deep into midfield to defend, while he is also going forward and making so many runs.

Lavia has been a beast in midfield today, absolutely unbelievable. I don't know how this guy will be benched in the deep midfield position. I keep saying it in this group but people are not seeing it.

Gusto has really impressed me. Him playing on the left back has provided a solution to play both Gusto and James together.

Lastly James is FAR better as Central defender than in midfield.

How do you think Enzo and Caicedo get deployed into the system when the midfield three of Lavia KDH and Nkunku all look undroppable?

Icl i think Gusto would do an inverted role better than cucurella, his taking the ball and turning is so natural and clean. I also think the way he used Enzo was good, he played as an 8 but not advanced. It looked like a 3-3-3-1 shape with Enzo as the right sided 8, he was free to drop deep and he could also join attack

Curious on how Maresca will use Reece James to contribute in the attacking phase because at the moment he's just a right back and sometimes a Defensive mid which is such a waste of his offensive talent. It will probably keep him away from injury since he doesn't cover ground as much but nothing very impressive with that defensive role he was playing so far, might as well get another player if this is the case and sell him for a top price.

From the little i saw from veiga, he can be very very erratic tbh. Poor tackling and marking. Plus lack of concentration

Stop it!. What is classless about selling a player is surplus to requirements and will not accept a new contract.? U obsess with bashing the owners but at the end of the day, Gallagher is surplus and not better than any of the guys competing for his position. U did same with Mount but to what end? Would we have been better off keeping Mount?
