The Copper Hoarding Race is On

Yes, the copper hoarding race is on. For me is a race to get 500 pounds of copper pennies by the end of 2024. But for all of us, it's a copper hoarding race to get plenty stacked up before the prices skyrocket, or before they are no longer available to get at face value. Copper prices will continue to rise, and copper pennies will continue to get harder and harder to find at banks. That will also mean you will be getting fewer and fewer wheat pennies and Canadian pennies.
(order 2 or more of my mats and receive a wheat penny as a bonus)

Amazon products I use all the time in my copper penny hoarding.
If you follow a link below and purchase any product I get credit for it. It all helps. Thank you

(I like these for pennies or nickels)

I sorted through 5lbs of world coins today. I can’t believe I got 12 fillers for my Canada small cents album. Last week I turned up a 1932 Canada cent in a box search. George VI or was it IV? Small thrills add up.

I found two long electric cords today to add to mine. Have a bunch to strip when I feel like it.

I think that the 8 is a typical type of error from the mint. P.S.I would look at the 71 s, mint it maybe a DDO

I’m so tired of finding 1969 D Lincoln cents!! They must have made 16 billion of them, I think I found 15 billion of them!!! LOL ! Back when I was a little one (when we played stickball with dinosaur eggs) use to find lots of wheat cents. Those were the good ole days. Great video Sir!

I’ve never found a proof in circulation😂 good finds. I don’t box hunt though. I pick up 2 or 4 rolls at my bank once a month and search pocket change. Been doing that for 7 years I think. No proofs😂.. that 86 D looks like doubling the 9 also looks like it’s coming loose to me too.. might be dye fatigue but the rest of the coin looks pretty sharp. Definitely something going on there with that one. You can probably sell it for a decent little amount to someone curious. I just bought a silver Roosevelt dime for a couple bucks with a decent size dye chip. I wouldn’t say I’m an error collector but I’ve got a few.

I save the copper cents also. 1982 and up Zinc I only save D's and S's, never found a W yet, but they must be in great shape. My manta about finding Proof coins is someone robbed Grandpa's collection and I'm a Grandpa. Nice find on the Canadian George VI, I found a 1943 George VI a few weeks ago. Since Canada stopped using the 1-cent coin in 2012 or so it's imagining they are still in circulation.

Are you looking for varieties? 92S CAM, 2023 VDBV, 83 DDR, 98/99/00 WAM, 72DDO (esp die4), et al

I don't understand the point of coin hunting pennies. I understand pre 82s are 90 percent copper. To what end. You found some wheats and proofs. I have the 2024 red book. What do we do with the rest?
