Excuse my typos but this is important:

My very 1st leopard gecko was given such bad care before I got her poor girl she wasn't given a humid hide because the guy told me "well I didn't think she needed one because I gave one to her before but she sister lay any eggs so I don't think she needs one" like what no it'd not just for eggs is also for helping them shed and they like it, poor girl after I got her she was almost always in there and shedding pretty often so that wasn't right she was also on only mealworms so when she got to us she decided no more of those I like Crickets now but she passed away after she got stuck eye caps then we took her to a vet they removed them they also showed me how she did loose some toe tips but they also made her go blind and then she never ate again, (needless to say I don't trust that vet anymore) but I tried feeding her but she just kept sealing her nouth shut and wiggles way too much and whatever i got in her mouth she didn't always swallow so she just woukd not eat and she stsrved herself only at 3-4 years old, this is why a humid hide is so so important, now I have a different girl I named her Cricket since she's not always a fan of being held and small crickets are her favorite food and she's doing fine no Shedding issues at all since he has a humid hide

I don't know about Leps, but AFTs can do a little bark as adults.

I think they just get calmer and more confident as adults and they only vocalize when they're really afraid.

My AFT got out of his cage and when I found him in the corner and went to pick him up he gave a yelp and bite. He never freaked out being picked up in his cage and I think they just get less fearful as they get older ❤

My leo randomly squeaks every night. I don’t even have to pick him up. Lol.

I used to have a fire bellied newt male that was only about 6 inches long but at night he’d start grunting, he was really loud for such a small salamander 🦎🦎🦎

My Kovu, 3 yr male, is still very vocal; kinda sounds like barking and he is very barky towards our exotic vet. I also had a lot of issues with 1 toe in particular with stuck shed, our exotic vet recommend UVB lamp and haven’t had an issue since. I do use the snake
soak for help prevent stuck shed too.

The tail can only fall and regrow once or twice.
