► THIS VIDEO reviews fetal development of the heart. Specifically the video will describe the prevalence of heart malformations, describe the development of the endocardial tubes, and describe the process of migration of the heart. After watching the video you will be able to describe the developmental process of contraction of the heart, summarize the embryonic chambers of the heart and describe the developmental process of folding of the heart. Finally the video will identify the structures observed on an early electron micrograph of a developing heart, list the embryonic structures of the heart and their corresponding adult structures, and describe the blood flow of the embryonic heart.
