Bring back Taylor Kitsch!!! He was phenomenal in X men origins Wolverine! Channing Tatum can learn an accent, put on a wig, and swing around a staff, but he can never exude the coolness that Gambit demands. He was chosen for this role to bring the female audience into the X men fanclub, a.k.a. Sex appeal.

I'll hold out judgement on this one.  I can only assume that when Channing was reading for the role he did well enough that they saw reasons to cast him.  But right now I think I'm cautiously optimistic.

I don't know X-men that well but Days of future past looks good.

Also, hopefully deadpool is not at all like what happened at the end of origins wolverine. It took me a while to connect the weird emotionless mute science experiment with the tongue-in-cheek wily protagonist from the recent game.

Sorry but i don't think he can pull off Gambit. Gambit is well was one of my favorite x-men.... have a feeling this will end as badly as the Matrix Revolutions

I just don't think Tatum was the best choice, I'm sure there were a lot more actors that could have better fit the role

.. i don't see it, no, i never would pick him for it. you need someone who looks way more foreign, naturally but can play, personally i don't really like him as an actor...

off the top of my head. johnny depp, sasha roiz, ... id take colin farrell, .. but i dont see channing as good enough actor to play this role, alot of depth to remy. any of the 3 i listed would be miles better, id give it to sasha personally
