I seriously doubt the refresh will be offered at the same pricing & rates as the current MY. That was simply too good a deal to pass up on a 24 model vehicle! I’ve had mine for 2 weeks now and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!

After debating for a while I have decided to go with the 2024 Quicksilver MYLR.

I’m sure the refresh will be better without a doubt. I got my Y last month for the 0.99%. I highly doubt I will have buyers remorse. The only thing that I love about the new M3P is the new seats

Oh thank god - I’m not going crazy. Just spent a week in a refreshed M3 rental. Couldn’t find the USBc charger ports for the longest time. After renting a legacy M3, I had gotten used to 2 ports in the front.

The stalks didn't seem like too big a deal till you realise that you have to indicate off of roundabouts and that'd be pretty hard to do when turning the wheel

I am taking delivery on a MY a week from today and I’m good. As an old test pilot having dealt with a factory, I figure if the factories have been making the current Y all these years they have gotten pretty good at it so there should be few if not zero issues at delivery. A brand new MY is gonna have issues.

Two reasons to buy now:
1.99% APR and Tax Credit. With the upcoming election there is no guarantee that the Tax Credit will stay when the new ModelY comes out. $7500 is a big discount

Most feature upgrades never ever get used. My previous EClass I owned for five years and can count on one hand how many times is used Massage Seats, Heads Up Display, A/C Seats (and I live in Miami), rear sunshade, etc. Your car’s biggest feature will always be getting from A to B.

If the Model Y offers a big hardware upgrade or much longer range than the current Model Y then I could see having buyers remorse. But seats with bolsters, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, etc just don’t make a car IMO

Just ordered 30 mins ago lmaooo! I was so undecided between model x and y and then they dropped that 1.9apr last night and it was an easy decision.

Man, you do a very good thorough detailed job with these videos. Very honest and genuine review. Excited to see what’s in the store for the future of the channel.

Got a 24 MY back in April. I wanted parity with my 22 m3 LFP. Both vehicles feel almost the same. Same cpu, turn signals, headlights. Call me weird but knowing they’ve made millions of the old gen y makes me sleep better. I stopped doing iOS public betas years ago when I need my product to work reliably. It’s like the foundation series cyber truck. Thanks for paying extra to beta the vehicle bruh. Reminds me of old GameStop exclusive game crap. Pay nearly double for an unfinished product and $2 of Chinese garbage .

Tesla 3 Highland LR AWD is the best car I've purchased next to a Model S/X. It's comfortable, fast and quiet. The suspension has been upgraded. We also own the Y Performance, and that is a ROUGH ride on uneven roads and sudden dips.

.99% or 1.99% financing are mainly for people on the edge about getting their first Tesla, and not so much current existing Tesla owners.

I know, because I jumped on the .99% financing on my first Tesla 24 MYP and have no regrets. Thinking about getting the M3P in the future.

I am definitely waiting for the refresh MY. I got my MYLR on 26 Dec 22 as a '23 MY. The '24's just don't have that much difference to lose money on my current MYLR only to wish I had waited. I am 74 and the main reason I bought a Tesla was for the instant speed and the smooth quiet ride it gives. So relaxing for a trip from the Central east coast of Florida to NC. I am not sold on the FSD yet. It was $15K when I bought my car, then down to $12K and now $8K. Even autopilot really pisses me off when someone from the opposite direction makes a left turn in front and is totally gone but autopilot slams on the brakes. It is a little better but still way too sensitive. I have rented the FSD and the first time I did, I drove to NC and it wasn't fully integrated until 10 days after it was installed so I didn't get the full FSD experience until after I needed it. But I have rented it 2 more times and then had a free "supervised" FSD and I got to report a lot of bugs. In the 19 months I have owned the car I have not had a single issue until now. I get in and it tells me to turn left in my garage as if I had shared a destination from google maps. I love that feature by the way. There are times it says it can't find a place to navigate to and then I put in in my phone and share it and it works that way but that is not good to go through all that while driving. It has cost me $130 in Maintence of just tire rotation that came to my house to do it and that is it! I hope they come up with the battery that can go 1750 miles on a single charge, in fact I want a nuclear battery that would never need charging! I will be getting the Model Y performance model when the 2025 comes out.

I am waiting for the refresh no matter if price is up. I am interested on the battery technology and the self driving. I am anxiously waiting. Keep up the videos. Thanks.

I bought my 2023 model 3 like, days before learning about the refresh. Wish I would’ve waited.

Think the issue I have is fomo on the value play if fed/state credits reduce over time etc. Was waiting on the refresh Y for ventilated seats and "what if" range increase, but the current tax credits and EoY discounts (I assume) may pull me to buy the old '24 Y LR AWD. It's like $24k in my state without referrals, military discount or inventory pricing.

Your videos are always superb. Everything that we need to know about these brilliant vehicles. Every little detail. I do think I’ll hold off to get the Juniper next year.

Spent a week in a M3 refresh rental. Didn’t hate not having stalks like I figured I would. Yes the turn signals are a bit “sticky”, but they never got stuck for me. The only thing that irritated me about stalkless is the autopilot activation. Double tapping the button did not consistently activate autopilot, often activating TACC, then deactivating it instead of turning on autopilot. Though sometimes it wouldn’t acknowledge the second press at all. And no, I’m staying with double pull activation after having tried single pull. I don’t know if it’s too sensitive, I’m not going fast enough, or if I’m compressing deeply enough… but I am not a fan of stalkless autopilot.
