Loved the part where Robbie says "I'm not a gay athlete, I'm just an athlete". For some reason all in the media it's always, gay marriage equality, gay couple, gay wedding, gay this an that, when we shouldn't have to put the word gay in front of whatever title we hold, it should just be marriage equality, a couple, a wedding.

Robbie Rogers is such a dude, respect. It shouldn't even be that we admire him for coming out, it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm not a fan of football (soccer) and I dislike it even more because of the stigma surrounding being gay in that sport, but I like it because of Robbie. True hero, or at least brave for coming out. I can't believe he's the ONLY pro football player who is out...

I'm trans and I play in a women's basketball team (I'm still in the closet), if I come out they won't let me play with my current team, neither with the boys. It's being who I am or play the sport I love with all my heart

I got so worried when it said "what changed after coming out" but they got accepted and that gave me hope and made me happy. There are accepting people out there in the world obviously it's just so nice to see and being reminded of it.

BuzzFeed should do a video on the Ace Umbrella, AKA asexuals and those falling within the spectrum between asexuality and sexuality.
Asexuals are frequently told "Oh, you just haven't found the right person yet." or "Maybe your life is just too busy right now for you to think about relationships.", even if they are a grown adult who has not felt aroused a single time in their whole life. Some people even tell asexuals they are just avoiding relationships and putting a name on it to get attention.
Demisexuals are often shamed, as people assume they are just saying they won't have sex until they form a loving relationship with someone and then put a name on it so they looked special. People will not listen when they explain that they literally only can feel sexual attraction on rare occasions and it is with people they are emotionally attached to about 99% of the time.
Grey asexuals also can be harassed by homophobic people because in the circumstances where they do feel sexual attraction, some do feel it for the same sex.


And most importantly, it is good for people to be informed on this info so that if their friend comes out as asexual or a grey asexual, they can understand what their friend feels.
