Why Do Baseball Managers Wear the Team's Uniform Instead of a Suit Like In Other Sports?

In this video:

Eye color is a function of pigmentation both at the back of the iris (iris pigment epithelium) and in its stroma (the front of the iris), as well as the density of the cells in the stroma. In most cases these factors, and hence eye color, are determined by genetics with potentially as many as 15 different genes identified to date seeming to affect the ultimate coloring in some way.

Anyone else finding it absolutely mind blowing how the same process that makes the sky blue, also makes our eyes blue? And that grey eyes are caused by the same process that makes a rainy cloud grey? I think that's awesome.

Imagine how much the first humans mustve freaked out when one woman just gave birth to a blue eyed baby

Speaking of eyes I dated a girl with a lazy eye once.

It turns out she was seeing someone else on the side.

Maybe a topic for you: What is the "new" smell in electronics and/or cars and why does it go away?

Few people can sound cool while saying something like "eye booger" but Simon manages to pull it off ;-)

I have central heterochromia, and brown freckles in my iris. Only way to describe them is like looking at the bottom of a stream. Some green, some blue, with mud and rock at the bottom.

Im an artist-- I love eye colors and how different and unique everyone's irises are!

Oh you've got green eyes.
Oh you've got blue eyes.
Oh you've got grey eyes.
And I've never met anyone quite like you before.

How do blue and green eyes exist despite the eye not having those pigments?

It just works

As someone with hazel eyes, it's something I get the most comments about. Given how my eye color seems to change throughout the day some people would ask if I was changing out contacts during the day.

"In extreme cases, can appear near black" … *raises hand* Well more like that used to be true. I remember sitting in Jr High science class and they were talking about eyes and how pupils work. The teacher had a simple experiment to show how pupils dilate and contract = we would watch a partner's eyes in a lit room then as teacher turn off light and see the pupils expand to let in more light.
My eyes were so dark my lab partner complained he couldn't see my pupils even when sitting under the ceiling lighting. It was as if the deep brown-nearly black just blended in with the pupils at times.

now that I'm 49, my eyes have lightened up. They are still quite brown but its easy to see the pupils.

Styles 3 and 4 looked nice on you, but I think the ones you already wear look good, too. My middle brother had dark brown eyes, but in certain light they appeared more green. He was diabetic and developed diabetic retinol detachment in one eye. When he lost the sight in that eye, it turned sky blue. I was hoping there would be some info in this video to explain why that happened. Maybe next time. Blessings all!! 💜💜

3, 4, or 5 (with 5 being closest to your current pair)

My husband has one blue eye and one eye that is exactly half blue and half brown. I always noticed that his eyes seemed particularly vibrant in certain light conditions. Now I know why!

Also, I vote for pair number 5.

I have central heterochromia, and my eyes changed colors drastically as a preteen, going from mainly dark brown with a small ring of green on the outside, to mainly green with a tiny lighter brown star in the very middle.

I'd go with the third pair of glasses.

People also call the stuff in your eyes "sand" hence the Sandman coming to put people to sleep at night.

What about gold eyes? I had a professor with stunning, golden eyes. Would this be from having extremely little melanin?

I just learned I have central heterochromia in both eyes, I have an inner ring of yellow with an outer ring of blue 🤓
