So, I can't file a defamation case against my relatives because even if my parents heard it, they probably would remain silent or just disagree saying " Yeh to tumhare bhalai ke liye hi hai " 😂

People are so easily offended now a days. Is it because of the media where people are allowed to shout at each other if they get "offended"? Or is it the big ego of the people?

I think people should start filing defamation cases on these media channels

So basically if I call a person terrorist in front if another person then it is defamation.You can put a case against a spouse but there are exceptions.

Its only the high profile people/establishments, who know how to implement defamation!
Perhaps after provoking the victim to to make claims or statements in imposed confusion/frustration!
Good advice which could help the victim think and save energy/expenses, till well prepared!
Sadly most victims are not in a position to defend themselves!
For these people, they can only wait, watch and witness, the perpetrators facing real misery!😮

Hello. Can you confirm if there is a provision that allows a defendant to cross examine the plaintiff himself i.e., without an advocate? If yes, is the defendant required to file a written application with the concerned court/judge to seek approval?

I have been defamed but I don't know who spread the word also no body talks to me about it ..they just talk about those lies behind my back and sometimes in front of me with an indirect reference ...I have been ostracised in my locality ...what can I do ..I don't know who is the real accused
