Putting so much CGI over this beautiful practical costume work in the final version was honestly a crime. This looks so much better and far more real than what we got. The film overall was still incredible but execs need to back off with the CGI. Practical effects just hit different and they stand the test of time in a way CGI rarely does.

I can't believe after so many years, even with all the new technology available, the design from the first Predator is still the best one. Literally what the fuck. Also, they missed the opportunity of making Prey about the Elder Predator from Predator 2 and connecting the Predator with the Native American Wendigo myth.
