I think the first Venom was actually a well structured film according to me compared to other ones in this universe entirely, also pretty dark at times, like most of times it was dark and the villain was damn powerful and scary. The story was good in its own world. I loved the first film more than the 2nd i think.

Personally I would’ve saved this ranking for when Venom 3 came out since by then we’d have six movies to talk about for the six years this weird side experiment has gone on for consisting of the three Venom movies, Morbius, Madame Web and Kraven the Hunter with as of this an unknown future ahead for a Spider-Man shared universe that’s yet to feature a Spider-Man

Zach Snyder cuts of Batman Vs Superman and justice league were both R rated and 3hr runtime and a 4hr runtime it was better than the original cuts.

Hot Take: Morbius is great! Don’t get me wrong, it was incredibly messy. I didn’t care anything in the trailers or Vulture. (Btw ATSV fixed Vulture). The CGi was spotty but still goofy in a fun way.
The thing I like is the story. Classic Spider-Man villain, when he tries to heal himself and it works, until he becomes more of a Batman than Batman. But he accidentally becomes a cannibal, and can’t live on artificial blood much longer. He’s Kraven more, and needs to be stopped. In the meantime, Milo (amazing dancer btw) tries to cure himself, and it turns him into Batman too. Although he’s less prepared and becomes more corrupted. While it was predictable, his twist was still fun. And that leads up to the final fight, where they use these crazy powers in this cool battle.
(Also, he had to eat his girlfriend to survive. This sounds weird, but I thought that was actually a well written moment, because most movies would just think of another way. But no, he has to unwillingly eat his girlfriend to survive.)
Like I said, this movie is a mess. But it’s low-stakes, basic, and well written, reminding me of some earlier Marvel films like Ghost Rider, Blade, Or Daredevil ‘03

I cant put anything other than the first Venom at number one. I don't just think it's the best of those Sony movies, but I genuinely love it. It had the right amount of comedy and I can't say how many times I've seen it
