the "not a goodbye" part might be foreshadowing to MCU
symbiotes have a hive mind and their knowledge is transported between different universes also
so that would make sense if Venom remembers Eddie in MCU just like he did with spiderman in brief moment in No way home

Carnage is the blood of Venom while the Symbiote pieces are more his body, but what I think will happen is that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will obtain the Symbiote sample in his universe and Eddie will get the captured sample of Venom at the beginning of The Last Dance

In the beginning at Area 51 when discussing the decommission Dr Paine states that cockroaches survive anything after evolving something like 2.8 billion years.. symbiotes are older but perhaps he already bonded with the cockroach.. this ties directly with the 2nd post credit scene… venom lives

Venom will come back as after the credits there was a second post credit scene where the goo that venom left at bar binding with a cockroach and it will find its way back to eddie
