Billing disputes is one of the top call drivers of any Telco account and expect that customers will definitely abuse you. However, one tip is to familiarize yourself to the promotions, discounts and details of these rate plans so that, you can walk the customer through the account charges and also recommend options on how the customer will be on par with the usage that they need. Probing questions too will really help, visual audit is important too.

Customers never tell me they don't know what the sales rep said lol they always say with conviction they were promised every free new customer add on promotion we've offered over the last two years or that their bill will never go up which is not only an unreasonable expectation but not something anyone would have promised.
