Hi. I'm 11.
I have this.
I don't really feel anything about it
I'm actually happy and I think it's cool
I like to scare my friends by moving my right eye back and forth!
And you might say I shouldn't be doing that
But I was self-taught to control it
No videos
No exercise
It's not painful
I've had lazy eye ever since I was 4, I think...

I feel like I was blessed with lazy eye because I'm also nearsighted and need glasses and SURPRISINGLY
when I take off my glasses, it actually improves my eyesight when it goes back. For example, looking at a phone, I can't even read when I'm holding it in my hand... But when my lazy eye goes back I see better. I guess I'm just lucky when it comes to this...

For about the first half of my life I didn't need glasses and wasn't lazy eyed, but about age 11 I noticed my vision was blurry so I got glasses. I had a few different pair over the years till I was like 17 I broke them and just didn't bother to get another pair and after some time I noticed my eye was lazy.. I just turned 20 so it hasnt been that long since i stopped wearing them so I'm wondering if wearing glasses again would fix this?

Its so refreshing to find Youtube videos which are to the point, and don't waste time asking you to like/subscribe etc. Thank you.

I have this. I had to wear a patch when I was a kid. I almost went blind in my left eye but luckily my mother noticed that I had one eye fishing and one eye hunting and then took me to the doctor. Now I have 2020 in one eye and 2025 in my bad one. Still I mainly use my right eye but my left eye is fine and I can actually manually switch to using that one if I focus on it.

I wore glasses that fixed my lazy eye (I still where a pair), but now one of my eyes (I’m guessing the lazy one) can move independently from the other if I willingly attempt to do so. It’s neat, but I’m just hoping that it’s not a sign of the issue never truly being resolved. I haven’t researched this issue at all since I though that this was fixed, and I acknowledge the fact that I’m ignorant on this topic. Please don’t the roast me

Guys help I dont know which eye to patch. The one with the degree where everything looks blurry from or the one with 20 20 vision? My eyes dont stray but the degree difference is 300 (dont know which one is considered 'lazy')

Okay I don’t know if I really have lazy eye I really don’t know but I haven’t been sleeping as much as I should cause I’m always sleeping at 12:00 in the morning where everybody else has been sleeping and so this went on for a few days...one day I woke up did brushed my teeth and washed my face.I looked in the mirror and my eyes looked the same until I took a picture and there was such a huge difference my other eye was just more of my lid showing and looked like it was looking down when it clearly wasn’t and then a few days it kept on happening but last time I took a pic and it looked fine until I took a pic the same day and it came back. Someone please help me😭😭What do I do?

i was told i have a lazy eye and as a child i was doing therapy which corrected the eye drifting outwards. However i am blind. my blind eye sees the world as if it were looking through a folded t shift. I can see some things and large things and some outlines and things but I could never see any kind of letter or small thing whatsoever. I just wish i could correct this vision problem and be able to experience life without this blindness. I am a very clumsy person and i think it is attributed to my blindness :(

i was born with squint on my right eye. and with glasses and exercises it was straight by the time i started school i have been wearing glasses since age 2. but at the age of 10-12 my doctor ttold me i have lazy eye too. but on my left eye. and in his words he gave me rough estimation of 7 years by when my depth perception and focusing would come down by half. and told me my nerves are drying out and because of how late it was caught i cannot recover from this. i am 23 now and i am losing my focus and depth in my left eye quite rapidly. if there are any suggestions please do share
