I'm cautiously optimistic for House of the Dragon because 1) D&D aren't involved in it, and 2) the source material is actually finished, so it hopefully won't go off the rails like Game of Thrones did. The event I'm most looking forward to seeing depicted in the show (next to the Storming of the Dragonpit) is this one right here--a Son for a Son. I can already see all the bar reaction videos to Helaena making Sophie's Choice.
