Hi, how can I reinstall an app not purchased through Play store or any such places. It was a camera and someone helped me with installing the app. It has disappeared and the camera doesn't even have a brand name for me to search and find it. I bought it from Ebay but the seller is not longer there. I was hoping to find it by searching my apps, but nothing like security camera shows up. Is there anything else I can do? I did have the app up until a few weeks ago and I don't know why it is missing as I didn't delete it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

And another idea is go to game launcher and click to show download games in home screen

You might want to try this first. Save you a lot of hassle:
1. Options
2. Home screen
3. Go down to 'Hide apps' (some apps have there icon hidden by default <wow>)
4. Look for app. If it has tick by it, then press on it
5. Confirm by pressing 'done' below
6. Send thanks (optional)

Edit: Btw. Discovered this when my Apple Music app wouldn't show. Tried all kinds of nonsense then found this.

Very stupid & counterintuitive of Samsung the way they designed this. Tried installing & using Firefox on my A7 tablet but there was no way to get to new apps without having to go through the play store & open the app from there. Seems to be no way to find it & just add it to home screen like on their phones. Android should cut ties with them and make their own devices like what Google started doing since Samsung has really been dropping the ball lately.
