In this video, I record my wife's reaction to secretly supercharging her new Cadillac Escalade, we do some crazy boosted launches, some burnouts, and hit the dyno. The results are pretty amazing but wait until you see what happens with a less restrictive air box! This truck is basically an Escalade V now at 1/4 the price and it's an absolute blast. Positive displacement blowers (roots or twin screw) are INCREDIBLY sensitive to intake restrictions. If you do the 104mm throttle body, a larger diameter intake, and remove the intake box, you will break 500whp, maybe even 525. Back when ‘03 Cobras were in their heyday, and we were just learning about positive displacement blowers, people would bump the boost up, get up to around 475rwhp, then add a big throttle body and intake and gain 80-100hp with just the intake mods. That means that not only are the super receptive to gains if you reduce restrictions, but they also lose tons of power if you increase restrictions. Make sure your air filter is clean/new. A dirty air filter on a positive displacement blower car can kill 20-40hp.
