Beckett provides SUBGRADES!

Subgrades consist of centering, edges, corners, & surface. These 4 attributes are all used in determining the final overall grade of your card. Your total overall grade cannot be more than 1 full point higher than your lowest sub grade.

Subgrades allow Beckett to provide transparency and consistency when grading; whereas with PSA and SGC, you can get a 7,8,9 or even worse and be left with the question, why did they give me this grade?!?

Consistency and transparency are the two main things we look for when grading cards and there is no better company for this than Beckett Grading Services.

Great video! I only work with Beckett. They have the luxury slab in my opinion compared to the cheap plastic slab PSA uses that allows the card to move and is at times damaged not to mention the dated library index card label from the 1970s. Beckett is nostalgic for me as well as I didn’t go anywhere without my Beckett price guide as a kid. Now if Beckett improved their customer service and website, they would be amazing because their customer service is wretched!

I heard that PSA and I think Beckett are doing on-site grading at the Toronto Sports Card Expo in Toronto. I have a some solid cards I need graded like my 93 Jeter Sp Foil RC that’s been sealed uk for the last 26 years. Should I use Beckett for my sports cards or PSA? I was hoping to pay the extra to have the cards graded that day so I could hopefully sell at the show. I’ve never submitted for grading ever and need some guidance.

As much as I love Beckett slabs . Submitting to Beckett is bitch the lack of transparency on the process is why I’ll never submit to Beckett again till they improve the process

I’ve sent a card to PSA and it graded 8 then cracked it and sent the same damn card to PSA again and it came back 10. PSA suck!

But i found out that it was graded from beckett in 04.
