I’ve seen Leonhart’s new video about the process that goes into it. It’s a good process, but I don’t trust GameStop. There’s so many things. Like they have the max of $1500 to send in for a card, the idea of it getting stolen by an employee, the idea of it “accidentally” being sold etc…buying card products yeah but sending to grading sounds too good to be true

This is awesome not terrible. $16 to grade your cards and you don't have to send 10. Also free shipping for gamepro members. This really isn't for high end collectors.

Bro, psa wants to charge me 75 for shipping. No. This is an absolute win for gamestop AND everyday people.

"Hurr durr GS just doing this so they dont go bankrupt"
Yeah, just like youre uploading videos to make money, so does every business. What a stupid take.

I’m gonna give it a try in a few months. I’m a GameStop pro member. Not a PSA member. I only have like 8 cards I’ve wanted to grade. Using GameStop makes the most financial sense from a price-per-card and shipping perspective. But your points are very valid about entrusting your cards with untrained employees.

- No minimum lot size.
- Don't need to pay / worry about shipping.
- No need for a grading membership.

You dont need to reinvent the wheel, just slightly improve it. I think this is a good move for GameStop

Assuming all stores handle things the same, I'd think it's a good idea to submit thru a bigger company like Gamestop. You saved shipping, and does not have to worry about the minimum quantity limit. Big win for smaller collectors.

So PSA charges you $24.99 per card(unless you send in 20 cards), also a membership fee, out-of pocket shipping fee, you have to package and ship yourself and trust a random (overworked) UPS, USPS worker to handle your cards vs $15.99 per card, GameStop handles the logistics, free shipping for pro members, upcharge is from PSA, not Gamestop, and gives you 15% more value for the card IF you wish to trade in for cash or store credit?

This is a rare game stop W. Not having to pay a $150 yearly sub is a win for so many people. Also not having to submit a minimum of 20 cards is great.

GameStop not going backrupt. It's for 4.6 billion in cash ..
Practically no debt..
Yes they are changing or looking at changing their core and trying different things.
It might work and it might not.
But stating GameStop going bankrupt is just bad reporting

I have never graded a card in my life but I got a dozen I’ve been thinking about. It’s just the availability of gamestop locations. I thought they were gonna make this a pro benefit but props for making it open to everyone.

Everything about this sounds like a HUGE win

This is a great deal and offering. Annoying how people want to shit on anything GameStop does just because it's GameStop.

You sound like a child that is having their toy taken away from this. This brings grades cards mainstream. It’s gonna lower the price of graded cards, less exclusivity, and is cheaper. You are showing your bias like CRAZY in this one. 🤣

"avoid bankruptcy???"
You must know nothing about business. GameStop corporation has over $4.6+ billion in capital. Absolutely no debts at all. Owes no banks loans. Makes significant amount of money on interest in their capital. They have more Capital than Best buy and target combined.

GameStop has a nearly zero chance of going bankrupt.

Who the hell listen to a guy like this who knows nothing about business 🤭

So Gamestop is being smart and trying to adapt... You take that as a negative and are just bashing it the whole time. Horrible content...

So my card went from $150 to $350 and I’m mad? 😅 I always heard people complaining abt them downgrading so people chase the 10’s with more orders

this gives kids a chance to submit some cards. it will flood the market with more cards. it can be good, it can be bad.

Bro you are taking this way to negative. I will be using this service for sure. As a pro member I'll get free shipping and I don't have to pay a bunch to submit 20 cards. I can't do that. I don't need the game stop employee to be a professional all they need to do is bag my cards and send them to psa that's it. They don't need to know anything about the tcg at all. That's what psa is for. You should use the system, give it a try first before you crap all over it. I think this is a really great idea. I don't like my cards sitting on my front door step for hours and hours until I get off work. This way I have the security of game stop holding my graded cards until I go get them. I'm surprised to see this kind of content from you man.

The savings involved is potentially well worth the risk imo for cards under $200.
