Yeah, but if you have an Android or iOS device you can connect to your GoPro and use it as an external monitor/controller.

I most say that you dont get what you pay for from gopro anymore. In my go pro 1 i remember getting tv cables 4 adhesive mounts, 5 pivot arms. 2 different headstraps extra from what you got in this one. And it si at such a high price also.

one question: was there already a battery in the camera when unboxing, so you had, all in all, 2 batteries? Or was the camera empty?

Thanks for the great reviews mate. I have watched your GoPro HERO 3 vids and have a couple of questions? I hope you can help. Would this GoPro be overkill for filming videos for Youtube (the videos are mostly outdoor tutorials not involving high speed filming)? Is there an economical external mic that can be used with a GoPro? From your experience, what would be alternative camcorders for the above use (at a budget similar to or cheaper than to GoPro HERO 3. Maybe a different model GoPro)? Thanks for any help you can provide mate.

i bought what is supposed to be/was sold as a 3+ black edition but it only says hero 3 on it. also, did not get any books or manuals in the box - looks from your efforts like i should have. need to download the correct software. it also said black edition but i am just not sure. i can send you a pic of it if you like? bought it on vaca so no returning it. need to download the correct software so need to find out what it actually is, right? thanks for the video. gordon
